The influences VR made in Architecture

Since 2015, Audax Visuals has put efforts into studying Virtual Reality and bought the first Beta sets of Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. Since its success in 2017, the benefits of VR in architecture have become so strong that most people are starting to recognise its influences and put VR into the real game.

From just hardware for video games to products and architectural visualisation, the public can now actually really count on Virtual Reality (VR) for many fields out there. The study on how VR trends can increase the need for 3D visuals is affecting architects and visualisation teams.

According to some reading we have done, there will be at least two-thirds or more than two-thirds of architectural and architectural visualisation professionals planning to use VR in 2018. 28% already are (where Audax Visuals sees ourselves in this 28%), with others that are currently experimenting. This has clearly shown that the introduction of VR offers new ways for them to experience unbuilt buildings which increased the usage and interest of VR.

Not only the architects are using VR, but the developers too, have found out the benefits of using VR in their sales and marketing activities. As you can watch from the video below, it is one of the projects that we have done for Hoi Hup Realty for their Hundred Palms project. Other than Hoi Hup, we have also been working with Oxley, Singhaiyi, Teeland etc for projects in VR and AR.

MixGo New Milestone

On 29th October, MixGo officially launched an event in Dong Guan City in the Central of Guang Dong Province, China.

Our director, Mr. Guan WenBing gave a talk to the audience to introduce the brand and the Augmented Reality Mobile Application that we are trying to integrate into businesses for their new marketing and sales tools. And we are overwhelmed by the support, attention and love from the audience which motivates us even more to create greater things in the future!

Mozaik Index Indonesia 2017 x MixGo

Earlier this month, the MixGo team went down on a trip to Index Indonesia, the most important design-focused interiors event in Southeast Asia.

We are very pleased to be introduced by Mr. Andy who led us to know more about Indonesia and China-based furniture field leaders who also think that MixGo will be able to lead their business to another level. To be invited to partner with different companies and entrepreneurs in Indonesia and China has been another great milestone that we’ve achieved.

Sentosa Sandsation x MixGo by Audax Visuals

The Resort World Sentosa is celebrating its 45th anniversary by holding the largest sand festival in Southeast Asia – Sentosa Sandsation 2017 @ Siloso Beach!

Reported to have spread over 2,400 square metres, this event will feature more than 30 huge sand sculptures over 5 metres. A bonus will be, that between 4th and 10th September 2017, Singapore residents will be able to enjoy free entrance to Sentosa via the Sentosa Express and Sentosa Gateway! It will be an extraordinary weekend getaway with your family and friends! A sneak peek after we came back from Sentosa on the previous weekend!

As you can see from the sneak peek photos above, in Zone 1 – Our Sandsational Singapore (Singapore, Ho Say!), we, MixGo have worked together with the team for some special digital content! You can now download the MixGo mobile app from your app store or Google Play (IOS/Android) and watch the sculptures come to life with various AR effects (behind-the-scenes video features, simulated photo frames and filters, as well as gamification features).

Audax MixGo on Newspaper

17th July – Audax Visuals is proudly interviewed by Lianhe Zaobao (联合早报) for our Augmented Reality Platform, MixGo. We are very proud to be introduced to the public by the paper and thanks to all of our supportive partners, clients and friends who have been supporting us along the way.

Architectural Photography (Drone + 720°)

As Audaxers always behave, after the Augmented and Virtual Reality, in order to have a wider range of options for our clients able to engage the right services that are most suitable for different projects, Audax Visuals has our photographers gone under training for flying a drone and take better pictures in a different experience and angle. After the photography team is confident, we have brought in our drone and we are now licensed by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) to fly the unmanned aircraft for video and photo shooting.

The best part about using drone photography is we are able to bring architectural photography to another angle, another level with a whole new experience! Best picture taking for your aerial view or bird’s-eye view perspective to superimpose your 3D model in. Not only surreal aerial view perspectives or normal panoramic outdoor architectural photographs, but we are able to also shoot your 720° panoramic indoor photos for your show unit or project.

Other than taking excellent photography for architecture, we also make your drone photography or panoramic photos into interactive photos. You are then able to place your interactive photography into your website or portfolio to add greater immersion for your clients/audiences. The combination of the scenario or buildings around your project with the indoor 720° or specific area around or in your project location that you would like to highlight, we are also able to make them interactive and able to show more details of your project.

Audax Visuals is also capable of helping you to make your company’s very own smart gadget application. By making your company’s mobile application, we are also able to program your interactive photography into your mobile application. Moreover, our interactive drone/panoramic photography is also able to be viewed through Virtual Reality (VR) gear.
